ONDC Chairperson Carol Roe had the opportunity to meet President Obama at a health care town hall meeting in Shaker Heights, Ohio in July, 2009. The invitation to Carol came as a result of her grass roots work with health care reform. Carol has been active with Organizing for America. Note that Carol is wearing her ONDC button!!! In her conversation with the President, she took the opportunity to remind the President of the many contributions nurses can make in a reformed health care system.
